Capital Area United Way 37th Annual Jambalaya Jam

The 37th Annual Jambalaya Jam, presented by Shell and benefiting Capital Area United Way, will be held at North Blvd Town Square in downtown Baton Rouge on Thursday, October 17 from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Join us in the afternoon for an Appetizer Cook-Off between competing cooking teams as they compete for Best Appetizer. This portion of the event is FREE to attend, however guests will be encouraged to pay-to-vote for People's Choice for the best appetizer!

To-Go Plates of Jambalaya will be available for both lunch and dinner. All-You-Can-Eat Jambalaya will only be available for dinner.

Tickets start at just $10 and can be purchased here until Tuesday, October 15 at 4:00 p.m. . After that, tickets can be purchased at the event itself. All proceeds benefit Capital Area United Way. Will Call will be located near the ticket booth. Please provide last name or company name.

Lunch To-Go - $10 - pick up 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Downtown Baton Rouge, N. Blvd Town Square

Dinner To-Go - $10 - pick up 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Pick up your to-go box from the Will Call table, load it up with jambalaya and have a delicious dinner on the go!

All-You-Can-Eat - $15

Eat ‘til you drop! This ticket gets you as much jambalaya as you want from more than 50+ competing teams. We guarantee you won’t leave this event hungry!

VIP Lounge - $50

Located in the heart of the event, the VIP Lounge includes unlimited jambalaya and drinks (soft drinks, beer and wine) as well as catered food, sweet treats and comfortable seating.

Donate A Plate + $15

In honor of our upcoming 100th anniverary serving our 10-Parish service area, we ask that you consider donating a plate to feed ALICE families & individuals. Help us reach out goal of 100 meals!!
