Hundreds Of Women's Marches Held Worldwide

Women around the world are marching in the streets on Saturday (January 20) to fight for women's rights and equality. According to Fox News, the marches will also focus on "immigrant, worker and disability rights, and environmental justice."

The marches come in the midst of the #MeToo movement, which was started after multiple allegations were levied against powerful men in media, business and politics.

The organization that started the world-wide movement last year in protest of the election of Donald Trump is holding an event in Las Vegas, called "Power to the Polls," on Sunday. The rally will focus on electing more women to public office.

President Trump tweeted his support of the marches. He encouraged women to "get out there now to celebrate the historic milestones and unprecedented economic success and wealth creation that has taken place over the last 12 months."
