MKTO Comments On Their Own Throwback Photos (VIDEO)

After two years, MKTO has finally returned with new music. The duo, comprised of Malcolm Kelley and Tony Oller, shared their newest single "How Can I Forget" earlier this fall.

Speaking to iHeartRadio, the guys explained of the meaning behind their latest single, telling us, "'How Can I Forget' is a dope song. It's definitely kind of an ode to the fans. We've been away for so long, and how can we ever forget [them]. And, yeah, 'How Can I Forget,' that's what it's about, talking about that girl you can't forget, or whoever is in your life that you can't forget."

In celebration of "How Can I Forget," we showed Malcolm and Tony some amazing throwbacks they've shared on their official Instagram that should never be forgotten, and asked them to talk about each photo. They opened up about moments like performing with Taylor Swift on her "1989 Tour," their "Classic" music video shoot, performing alongside the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and so much more.

Halloween: Little Malcolm & Tony as Dracula & Batman

Malcolm: "Tony in Batman, and you know, I got the Dracula going on a little bit here, I think. It's all about the candy, though. I mean, Halloween, you know, get that candy. So, this is nice. It's a good throwback."

Tony: "That must have been the cheapest Batman costume, because I have never seen ... it looks like a skeleton."

Malcolm: "Little gidgets and gadgets on there."

Lost & Spaghetti Bangs

Malcolm: "Throwback Thursday, I guess they got my Lost picture on here. I like that. The beach in the background."

Tony: "So these, back in the day, for my '90s fam, these were called spaghetti bangs. Now, if you think that's bad, there was also about a three year space to where people decided to blond them and you'd have, like, bleached front hair. Wow."

Where They Met: Gigantic

Malcolm: "This was from Gigantic. We did a TV show together, it's kind of how we met. We had a season of this, it ran after Degrassi. And ... and yeah, this is it."

Tony: "It wasn't gigantic, but it was fun."

The "Classic" Music Video

Malcolm: "This song though, this was 'Classic.' This is my two good friends right here, since high school, since elementary. You know, they were in the video. We were just having a great time. This was dope."

Tony: "I met them through Malcolm, they're really cool. Yeah, that was like a ... we did like an underground casino thing, which was pretty cool. I mean, we hoped everyone would listen to it and check it out."

Performing "Classic" with Taylor Swift on the "1989 World Tour"

Malcolm: "The swiftest of them all, you know. This was dope."

Tony: "That was cool, I remember right before we went out, though, I was ... I don't want to say it, because it's probably bad to say, but I was really nervous, and we're like, sitting on the thing, I can't hear anything. We have in-ears, but, still, with that, it's like, it didn't work. And I remember looking at Mal, I'm like, 'I'm nervous as s***!'"

Malcolm: "I was just looking around at the crowd, I didn't [hear], you know. T-Swift and I were dancing, we had a little, 'Hey, yo, T Swift, I see you girl, do your thing!' It was fun. It was a good time."

Performing with Ninja Turtles at the Thanksgiving Parade

Malcolm: "This was cold. I remember this as just being cold, right here. I remember the gloves didn't work, the scarf didn't work, the jacket didn't work. You know, I guess it just needed more, but the Ninja Turtles were cool, though. We were behind KISS, I think, or in front of KISS, or something. That was a cool moment. Got to see them, they were turning up."

Tony: "I don't know what scarf I'm wearing, I just said, 'Oh yeah, dude hey, wear plaid with black.'"

"Calling" Harry Styles

Malcolm: "I don't know, were we calling Harry [Styles]? This is just what the caption says, we were calling Harry. Yes. It's coming back to me now. Oh yeah, One Direction, yes, in the booth. Yes. It's coming back to me now."

Tony: "Yeah, well this was ... we loved Columbia. It was an awesome experience. That's a night I don't really remember. But it's a cool booth. Freaking Harry man, didn't answer."
