Tropical Storm Eduoard is getting closer to the Gulf Coast.
According to the National Hurricane Center, Edouard could reach hurricane strength before it makes landfall on the northwest coast later today.
The storm is expected to weaken as it moves inland over southeast Texas tonight.
At last check, Eduoard was 35 miles south-southeast of Cameron, Louisiana and is packing winds of 50 miles per hour.
