If you were hoping that Kendrick Lamar and SZA would perform “All The Stars” from Black Panther at this Sunday’s Oscars, it’s not going to happen.
A source revealed toVariety that logistics and timing are the cause of why the song won’t be performed.
All of the other nominated songs will be performed, “All The Stars” was nominated for four Grammys and “King’s Dead” from theBlack Panther soundtrack won a Grammy for Best Rap Performance.
“When a Cowboy Trades His Spurs for Wings” from “The Ballad of Buster Scruggs” will be performed by Gillian Welch and David Rowlings, “The Place Where Lost Things Go” from “Mary Poppins Returns” will be performed by Bette Midler and Marc Shaiman, Jennifer Hudson will perform “I’ll Fight” from “RBG” and “Shallow” from “A Star Is Born” will be performed by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.
