Cardi Bย says she filed for divorce to teachย Offset "a lesson.โ
The โBodak Yellowโ rapper took to Twitter on Friday (October 16) to address the backlash sheโs received for getting back with her estranged husband after pulling the plug on their marriage last month.
In a voice message, the โPressโ star explained the real reason she decided to dissolve her marriage to theย Migos rapper. "If I take a break from my nโa and I decide to work things out, that's regular relationship sโt,โ she said in the audio clip. "If I want to go to an extreme to teach a nโa a fโking lesson and fโking file for divorce, I can do that. It's my life."
Cardi posted the message just days after seemingly reconciling with her husband over the weekend, asย the pair was spotted kissingย at her 28th birthday party. Also, Offset went the extra mile to make things up to his wife by gifting her Rolls Royce. Days later, the two shared a video ofย the lovebirds on a date, suggesting theyโre back together.
As fans know, Cardi filed divorce documents in Georgia in mid-September, citing โirreconcilable differences.โ
Since reuniting with the 28-year-old, with whom the โWAPโ musician shares 2-year-old daughter Kulture, one of Cardiโs fans accused Offset of manipulating her into taking him backโsomething she didnโt take too kindly.
"Abusive? Girl Iโm the one that do the hitting and the sโt talking," she hit back. "1m just a crazy bโh one day I wanna smack a nโa and leave the next week I Wanna ride his face and get the cโm rag. Ya be trying to analyze too much we are just simply dysfunctional."
