Two Louisiana cities have been named among the best places for Christmas in 2020.
WalletHub.com ranked Baton Rouge No. 89 overall and New Orleans No. 92 among the 100 "best places for Christmas" in a list published on Tuesday (December 15.)
The website said it determined which cities offer the most Christmas cheer amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic by comparing several key indicators of a safe and affordable holiday season, which includes the availability of Christmas traditions and the city's overall generosity.
Baton Rouge received a total score of 41.18 and ranked 86th in "safery," 69th in "traditions & food," 54th in "observance" and 85th in "generosity." New Orleans received a total score of 38.11 and ranked 90th in "safery," 85th in "traditions & food," 52nd in "observance" and 65th in "generosity."
