Saints Invite 24 Health Care Workers As Guests To Super Bowl LV

Last year, frontline health care workers and medical professionals experienced some of the toughest months of their lives, and so far not much has changed in 2021. As vaccines continue to be administered across the world, however, there is a renewed sense of hope for normalcy.

As a way to thank the workers who constantly and selflessly put their lives on the line to save others, NFL teams around the country are giving back to these essential workers by inviting a select number as guests for Super Bowl LV in Tampa Bay on Sunday (February 7).

The New Orleans Saints announced they have selected 24 local health care heroes to attend the Big Game as a way to "recognize their unwavering commitment to their community" throughout the pandemic. Each person attending has completed their full doses of COVID-19 vaccinations prior to traveling to Tampa Bay.

"These individuals as well as the entire Ochsner Health system have played and continues to play a pivotal role in the fight to help our communities overcome COVID-19," said Saints Owner Gayle Benson. "The Super Bowl is the greatest sporting event in all of sports and we are so glad to be working alongside the NFL to give this much deserved experience to these 24 individuals that have been on the frontlines."
