Two Louisiana Restaurants Among The Top 100 Places To Eat In 2021

As restaurants and bars continue opening up and people begin venturing outside their homes more and more, many are deciding where to go first. Travel, museums, live shows. Before you can do any of that, you need to fuel up at a local restaurant. But where should you go?

Yelp gathered thousands of suggestions and reviews for restaurants around the country to determine which are the best places to eat in 2021. Two restaurants in Louisiana made the cut.

GW Fins

GW Fins in New Orleans comes in at Number 31 on the list, with over 2,000 reviews and 4.5 stars. Specializing in seafood, this highly-rated restaurant sources its fish from around the world as well as locally from the Gulf of Mexico. The Wall Street Journal even calls GW Fins' chef the "fishmonger czar of the South." If you're in the mood for delicious seasonal delights, try some of their most popular dishes including crispy pork belly, yellowfin tuna tartare, and lobster dumplings.

Vegan Friendly Foods

With a 4.5 star rating, this Baton Rouge restaurant comes in at Number 64 on the list. As the name suggests, Vegan Friendly Foods offers a wide selection of delicious plant-based meals. Some of their most popular items include the Impossible Mac, dirty rice, and Triple B burger, with barbecue and buffalo cauliflower drizzled in ranch. Don't forget to try their red beans and rice or soul food platter to complete the comforting meal.
