Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are reportedly on good terms one year after their divorce.

A source connected to Affleck recently told People that the exes are "friendly" following their split last year. Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024 on the second anniversary of their Georgia wedding ceremony, and the exes finalized the process in January.

"Things between Ben and Jennifer are good," the insider said. "Even though they're not together anymore, they've stayed on friendly terms."

The source added that the "On the Floor" singer and the Good Will Hunting actor also plan to stay connected because of how close their children are. Lopez shares 17-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony while Affleck shares three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13.

"The kids are still really close," the source added. "They have the same groups of friends, they see each other and they talk all the time. They make sure the kids know they get along. The most important thing to both of them is raising their kids in a supportive environment, so they plan to stay in each other's lives."

A source close to the "Let's Get Loud" musician also said that Lopez is a "great mom and always gave Ben's kids the same love," adding, "Even though her contact with Ben is now more sporadic, they make sure the kids can spend time together whenever they want."

Lopez previously opened up about the "promise" she made her kids following her split from Affleck that "gives [her] a great sense of peace" in her life.
