Once kids reach that adorably curious age and start asking "why" in response to any and everything, there's a smart way to respond - especially if you don't know the answer!

Ryan Seacrest shared on-air around 3 years of age, kids start to question everything: Why is the sky blue? Why do we sleep? Why do I have to eat vegetables? Why does it rain? The list goes on.

So, what should you respond? According to experts you should ask your child "why do you think?"

Your child practices their critical thinking skills and answers their own question this way. Of course, you can then answer the question for them too - and Google the answer because let's be honest...
